MEMBERSHIP

Full membership is offered to those appointed under the Care of Cathedrals Measure for Anglican cathedrals in England as Cathedral Architects and to those in equivalent roles for cathedrals in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and to Architects and Surveyors responsible for the care of cathedrals of other denominations including the Roman Catholic Church.

Retired and former Cathedral Architects are encouraged to remain as members to allow their knowledge and experience to continue to be shared

We benefit from our international members for a wider perspective on the challenges and opportunities  for the care of cathedrals and major places of worship and encourage UK members to consider equivalent membership of international organisations where eligible.

We welcome associate membership from other conservation accredited architects, surveyors, construction and heritage professionals to aid the transfer of knowledge and skills, and to help shape the future of cathedrals as centres for both heritage and mission.

The Association is a corporate member of the Heritage Alliance and also supports other heritage and partner organisations in the knowledge and advancement of matters related to cathedrals and their heritage..
